How Do I Place An Order?

Our personalized bracelets are made so you can easily customize how you want YOUR bracelet to look!

Choose A Style - Select A Bracelet from our choices. By doing this you are selecting the layout of the beads. This is the only thing you cannot freely change is the design layout. This is the metals used, pattern of design, and size of beads.
You are always welcome to email us for a custom design if you do not like any of what we have to choose from and you still are able to add special requests to the design if needed at time of checkout.

1. Choose Strands - Select how many strands you want for your bracelet. All pricing is based on single strand and each additional is $10.00.

2. Choose Size - The sizes listed for our BYOB bracelets represent the actual size of the bracelet when worn (with the toggle or lobster clasp closed) in inches. The proper size for our BYOB bracelets is to add 1/4th inch (0.6cm to 0.7cm) to your actual wrist size for a slightly snug fit or add 1/2 inch (1.25cm) for a slightly loose fit.
First, measure your wrist size with a soft measuring tape between the base of your hand and your wrist bone. This is generally the second smallest measurement on your lower arm and just slightly larger than where most women wear their watches. Some prefer slightly snug fit and add 1/4th inch (0.6cm to 0.7cm) so that the letters remain on top of the wrist. Most customers add 1/2 inch (1.25cm) to their wrist size as they prefer looser fit and like their bracelet to have a little more movement.

What if the jewelry is a gift and I don't know the size?

If you do not know the size of the jewelry because it is a gift, please let us know under "special instructions" in the order form that it is a gift. We will allow ONE free re-size after the recipient has recieved it. Customer, or recipient will be responsible for any shipping fees to ship it back to us, AND shipping charges for us to ship it back.

Wrist size is not based on a persons "size". It is based on bone structure. Do please do not assume "small person = petite size".

If at all possible, please do try to figure out a way to get the size of recipients wrist to avoid problems. I have had many customer come up with very unique ways to get recipients wrist size! :)

3. Choose a Clasp - We offer 6 (FREE with the design choices) and upgrades for an extra cost which will be automatically added to total cost of order upon choosing. You can view pictures of our clasp selections by clicking the lavendar colored link that says "Clasp Selections".

4. Add Names - You get the first name on the first strand FREE. Additional strands and names per strand are an additional cost. Additional names are $5.00 per. Up to two names (dependant upon name length) can be put per strand normally. Please make sure double check spelling of name(s) when entering.

5. Additional Names - Please select if you are purchasing more than one name here.

6. Crystal Colors - Choose your Swarovski Color Choices per strand. You can view pictures of our Swarovski Selections by clicking the lavendar colored link that says "Swarovski Selections"
If you would like multiple colors per strand (if applicapble to design style of bracelet you choose), and you want them alternating in colors, or in a certain sequence, etc. Please add details of how you want them and what extra colors in the "Special Instructions" Box before checking out.

7. Add Charms - (optional) You may add sterling silver charms to the design for $5.00 additional cost. You can view pictures of our charm selections by clicking the lavendar colored link that says "Charm Selections".
If you would like a single charm this will go by the clasp by default unless customer suggests in "Special Instructions" anything different.
If you would like multiple charms please add if you have any suggestions on how you would like them placed in the bracelet, otherwise they will be placed symmetrically throughout the bracelet in no certain order.

8. Special Instructions - Please use this box to type any special design instructions or requests you may have that you cannot select in the order form. This box is limited to 250 characters, so you can email us as sales@silvermiststudios.comif you need more space! :)

Taking Care of my Jewelry

Store your jewelry in a cool, dry place. Leaving jewelry out in the open even if in a jewelry box will be a sure way for your jewelry to tarnish. The bag provided with the anti-tarnish strip will help prevent tarnishing and scratching by other pieces in your jewelry box.
Remove when cleaning, swimming and taking a shower. The chemicals used during these activities are hard on all jewelry components.
Remove when sleeping. Movement during sleep can also cause stress.
To keep your jewelry looking its best, periodically clean it in a mild soapy water mixture and a SOFT toothbrush. Rinse thoroughly with water and dry completely with a soft cloth.
Never let your jewelry soak in water, as it could corrode the wire the jewelry is strung on. If it does get wet, make sure you dry it completely.
Never use any type of jewelry cleaners or dips. The letter beads and Bali beads have an "antiqued" appearance. They have been oxidized to enhance the details. These solutions will remove the oxidation (or "antiquing"). On the other hand, if you want sparkling sterling silver jewelry, this is the way to accomplish it.

Proper sterling silver jewelry care ensures you will enjoy your jewelry for years to come.

Can I get Gift Wrapping?

At this moment we do not offer actual gift wrapping. However, all of our jewelry comes in a gorgeous purple jewelry box with our logo on it, along with silver ribbon ties, the cotton inside is special anti-tarnish cotton.

How long will it take?

Our personalized jewelry orders take approximately 2-3 weeks from time ordered to recieve. Some orders will recieve sooner depending on inventory of components available.
